As a child, I never saw myself being a graphic designer. Growing up in a small town in Kansas, I was into playing in the mud and saving any stray animal that I came across. I just knew I was going to be a veterinarian or zoologist. It wasn’t until I was older that I found my passion for the arts. I graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 with a degree in graphic design and then worked as a senior graphic designer for New Boston Creative Group in Manhattan, Kansas. In 2008, I moved to Richmond Hill and fell in love with the history and charm of the area. It is a wonderful place to call home and to raise my beautiful daughter.
Working with Reflections has allowed me to pursue one of my favorite aspects of graphic design… a magazine from cover to cover. I love my job as a graphic designer, and I can’t see myself doing anything else.
